Chuckanut Diamond In The Ruf
Seedling x Seedling 23" tall --5.5" flower -- Semi-Evergreen -- Mid -- Tet.
Champion Golden Retriever Chuckanut Diamond In The Ruf (a.k.a. "Karat") was a very special companion to a very special friend who selected this daylily as a memorial. With clean, clear colours -- a light pink base with a cherry-red eye and edge -- "The Karat Flower," as it's known in the garden, often shows a braided or knobby edge. It puts on a stunning display in the garden especially when opening multiple blooms on the same day. It has 3-4 way branching and bud count of 14 and is very fertile both ways.
SF $60.00 limited

Kit And Caboodle
H. 'Polynesian Love Song' x 'Lori Goldston' 33" tall -- 6" flower -- Semi-Evergreen - Mid-Late -- Tet.
This
large-flowered melon daylily has excellent substance, opening easily in
the morning and lasting well into the evening. With 3-way branching
and a bud count of 17 'Kit And Caboodle' always displays lovely
piecrust edging occasionally showing soft folds near the throat. It
provides an exceptional show on established clumps. The yellow-throated
blooms often have a light sculpting effect. The plant
increases well and overwinters beautifully in our zone 4b garden.
Fertile both ways. Single fan: $60.00
Sneaky Pete
'Swallow Tail Kite' x 'Captain Nemo' 38" tall --7.5" flower -- Dormant -- Mid-Late -- Tet. - Unusual Form Crispate
'Sneaky Pete' is a deep purple unusual form with a lighter lavender watermark (which tends to be more prominent on cloudy days) over brilliant green throat. As the day warms up, the blooms often present in cockerel form (three sepals quilled). 3-way branching (often 4-way) with a bud count of 18-20. The Spring foliage is a lovely blue-green. This daylily is a very good increaser producing ample medium-sized fans so double fans will be sent. Fertile both ways, however pods can be difficult (note: numerous pods were set in the cool, wet summer of 2009). Double Fan: $60.00
Greased Lightning
'Forestlake Ragamuffin' x 'Classic Edge' 28" tall, -- 6" flower -- Semi-Evergreen -- Mid-Late -- Tet.
I like unusual flowers and this ornate lavender with
grape purple eye and double knobby edge of purple and metallic gold
certainly fits the bill. Early season blooms produce a heavier gold edge but it is always present until the end of its long bloom cycle (it sometimes reblooms here). Flowers open early and reliably on sturdy scapes. A stand-out in clump form!
This plant has a moderate rate of increase and bounces back from
winters very well. 3-way branching and a bud count of 16. Fertile both ways and producing very nice double-edged
kids. Single fan: $60.00 Holding for Increase - Sold out for 2010.
